Red Nose Day Call Centre Is A Roaring Success!

On Friday evening we supported Comic Relief in its 25th year by providing one of the country-wide call centres.


Take a look at how much fun we had doing our part for Red Nose Day!

We were completely overwhelmed by the fantastic  support we received from flexible workers, corporate staff, suppliers and local businesses as it ensured that the night not only ran without a hitch, it was also an enjoyable occasion for those involved.

The 140 willing volunteers consisted of our corporate staff, their family and friends, flexible workers from West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, local businesses and suppliers to NHS Professionals.

The record-breaking evening, which is reported to have experienced 200 calls per second during peak times, has raised more than £75million for charities across the UK and Africa.

The 140 willing volunteers were kept in great spirits with lots of food and refreshment donated by suppliers and local businesses and by the various fundraising activities taking place throughout the evening. Our own Fundraising efforts, which included an auction, a raffle a cake sale and cake baking competition and sponsored activities, ensured we raised a whopping £4,250 and still counting for Comic Relief!
