NHSP does Tough Mudder 2013!

NHSP does Tough Mudder 2013!

Congratulations goes to Andrew from our Bank Recruitment team, Fraser from our Doctors team and Malik from our Doctors SPOT team who were all brave enough to take on London South 2013 ‘Tough Mudder’ challenge on Sunday 9th June.

Tough Mudder events, which raise money for the Help the Heroes charity, are held all around the world and are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by Special Forces to test strength, stamina and all round butch-ness….grrrr.

NHSPs heroes plus Fraser’s brother-in-law and Ashton a fitness instructor from the local Fitness 4 Less, successfully completed 20 of the 21 gruelling obstacles (Fraser and his brother-in-law managed to complete all 21!) in a respectable 3 hours and 35 minutes!!

They waded, climbed, ran and crawled through and over mud and water in various forms; they encountered wall structures, monkey bars, tubes and even finished with some light electric shocks being delivered by hanging cables whilst running through a man-made bog….Ggrrrr

Well done team!
