NHSP join Cavell Nurses’ Trust to complete Mount Cavell Challenge

NHS Professionals supports The Cavell Nurses’ Trust which assists over 1,100 UK nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants during times of difficulty ever year. Now in its centenary year, 2 NHSP employees will join The Cavell Nurses’ Trust to Complete the Mount Cavell Challenge.

Whats involved?  

Saturday – Fly from London Heathrow to Calgary. Evening reception in Calgary and buffet dinner.
Sunday – Travel to Jasper taking in some of Canada’s favourite tourist hot spots along the way.
Monday – Commemorative ceremony and wreath laying at Mount Edith Cavell in Jasper National Park.
Tuesday – Friday – Challenge activities will run throughout the week; choose from activities such as:
– White water rafting
– Mountain biking
– Rock climbing
– Glacier adventure
– Mountaineering days
– Cavell triathlon (a fun triathlon that is!)
– An ascent of Mt Edith Cavell.
– A final evening event, involving awards, music and more fun!
Saturday – Fly back to London.

The money we raise to take the Mount Cavell Challenge will be used to support nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants across the UK who are struggling financially due to ill health, disability, domestic violence and many other causes.
